If my jelly leaks thru the wax is it still safe to serve?!

Question: I have made my wine jelly for the 1st time in many many years! I put the jelly in wine glasses and top with a thin layer of paraffin. Then I whip more paraffin to a "snowdrift" consistency and top off the glasses. they are really pretty but, some of the jelly has leaked thru the wax. IS IT STILL SAFE TO GIVE AS GIFTS AND TO SERVE??

That sounds like a lovely idea! I've done fruit jellies and often the jelly "bleeds" into the wax. I just scrape the wax off and eat the jelly anyway, no harm done.

Store it in the refrig. and eat it. Eat the jelly not the wax.

Yes wax, is edible, its like honeycomb wax, most made from honeycomb wax like candles, or crayons. the jelly will taste like a hint of crayons
