heres how to cook ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, and biscuits(the easy way.) this will require a stove and oven though. ;-)

ham: go and buy a pre-cooked packaged ham. follow directions for heating up.

mashed potatoes: go to costco and get the instant potatoes. follow directions. add butter and salt on top or gravy!!!! yummy!

gravy: go to the dollar store and buy the packaged gravy. follow directions.

biscuits: 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. shortening

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, shortening and milk. Bake at 500 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until lightly brown.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

I suggest you find the nearest Chinese restaurant and enjoy yourselves. Honestly why stress over making a dinner for just the 2 of you? But if you really want to make a dinner, I'm sure some other folks will help you out.

Mariah is right, getting a cooked ham is good. All you have to do is heat it through. You can't hurt it. Though the biscuits I think are cooked at 400 degrees - watch it. Any vege out of a can would be good or in the frozen food section.

Starter-Prawn cocktail:Get a pack of ready cooked prawns mix with mayo and ketchup, serve with buttered brown bread and a wedge of lemon each.

Another starter you could do is pate on melba toast and you can buy both ready made from supermarket.

You can but most of the things you need for a classic xmas dinner ready made at supermarket like roast potatoes that are already half cooked and you just follow instructions on packet,im sure you both know how to peel, chop and boil veg and if you want a roast turkey put it in a roasting tray with butter in the bottom of it and spread on the bird,it will say on the packet how long you roast it for and make sure you keep pouring the butter over the bird while it is cooking. You can just use gravey granules to make gravey or it would taste much better if you made it in the bottom of the pan that you cooked the turkey in,you can do this by taking the cooked bird out of the tray and put it in the hob and turn it on,put a dessert spoon of flour in the tray as it will soak up all the fat,add a chicken or veg stock cube and then slowely start to add water to it a bit at a time and the flour will thicken the gravey. You can buy bread sauce and cranberry sauce ready made and you can but an xmas pudding and judt heat it in the oven and serve with cream, brandy butter etc.
Only cooking with a microwave is not very good or healthy so i hope you get inspired to cook propley!
Have a really nice Christmas and good luck!
