Simple baking goods for the bf's parents on christmas?!

Question: i been with my bf for about 8 months.
and i'm planning to spend christmas with his parents.
since i only met them once, so i want it to be a home-made thing.
i'm also getting them candles but i think baking them something as well will have a sense of "care".
what should i bake for them?
i'm not a great baker but i can still try.
recipes and favorite cookies will be great! thanks

An easy winner for me in the past was cheesecake with Cherry topping. I followed the directions from Kraft's website. It's always a hit whenever I make it for anyone!

Good Luck!

My favorite cookies for x-mas are macademia nut cookies. you can find tons of recipes at this website

Pumpkin bread is a family favorite for X-Mas at our house or you could try peanut butter cookies.

how about a coffee cake, they are great for breakfast and not too sweet. you can also find some cookie recipes that are crackers dipped in melted chocolate (ritz, etc) I would try looking on some of the following sites. good luck

a loaf of home made bread(you can buy fancy bread mixes),add some nice cheese, fruit and a bottle of wine/nice juice. put in a basket with a pretty cloth on top.
