This recipe calls for ilk???!
Answers: I want to make these mashed potatoes for dinner. The recipe calls for 1/2 cup of ilk. What the heck is ilk? I don't know what to do. I think restaurants use almond extract, at least that is what it tastes like to me. I love almond mashed potatoes! But I can't seem to find a recipe for them. How much almond extract do I put in, maybe 4-5 tbsp? More? But I am worried about the ilk and if I have to use ilk, where in the world do I find it? Can anyone help, please? I am trying hard to learn to cook. Thanks.
Ilk-pronoun
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English ilca, from *i- that, the same (akin to Gothic is he, Latin, he, that) + *lik- form (whence Old English līc body)
think it should say milk
typo...1/2 cup of MILK
its probably a typo... MILK
milk!!!!!!!!!! you diot
Are you retarded?
The 'm' is missing..... should read milk.
milk
Is it possible that whoever wrote out the recipe misspelled milk?
Silk... it's a soy milk
It's a typo, the meant elk. You can substitute caribou if there are no elk in your area.
You don't have a clue it happens!! m + ilk = milk 5 tbsp of almond extract and 1/2 cup of milk for 8 boiled potatoes 1/4 cup butter
