Is anybody familiar with the cookies called "Sandies"? Mine are kinda dry and crumbly?!

Question: Every Xmas I make Sandies out of the Betty Crocker cook book. They are good, but they crumble as you bite into them! Is there anything I can add to the dough to make it less dry, and therefore less crumbly?

At the risk of sounding redundant, pecan sandies are called sandies because when you bite into them they turn into a sandy sort of crumble. That is actually the joy of the cookies. You could try making a sugar cookie type dough with your nuts added because nothing you do to that sandies dough is going to make it less crumbly.

well u could add less butter
