If I don't have a toaster can I use a blow torch to make toast?!
I think everybody is taking your question far too seriously
Answers: I have the same problem. I use my flame thrower instead.

Now you're just being stupid
put it in the oven..the toast, not the blow torch
I toasted bread recently on the open fire but a blow torch sounds fine.
Sure! Just be sure to have your phone handy to call 9-1-1.
?Silly use the oven or lay in on the motor of your car
use a cookie tray or a 9 inch pan and cook your toast in the oven if you don't have a toaster lol. I wouldn't use a blow torch that's just silly and sounds like it would taste horrible lol.
yes, you can. It's quite effective. Many chefs use a blowtorch as a necessary staple in the kitchen
Set your oven to "broil"...move the rack as far up as possible and put the bread in the oven...don't forget to flip it over so both sides get browned. Keep the blow torch for your "manly work".
Use the broiler in your oven and watch it care fully. Or if it is bright and sunny where you are, put your slices of bread on the ground and focus a magnifying glass on each one, then flip and do the other side when you have reached your desired level of 'toastiness'!
Bend an old wire hanger (make sure it's not coated with chemicals, the new ones are) in half (far corners come about 1-2 inches from each other) so it makes 2 triangles, and the part you use to hang it sticks out like a handle.
Turn a stove burner onto medium heat, place your new "toaster" on the round and your bread right on top. When the bottom of the bread is brown, flip it over. Watch it closely, it can burn fast.
Makes the best damn toast in the world. Great with jam....mmmm...just like Granny used to make.
handle with care!!!!!!!
Sure you can. To make toast, all you are doing is browning the outer most surface of the bread.
The problem with a torch is even heating. Usually torches focus the heat to a small point making even toasting a challenge.
Why not use the broiler in your oven instead. Just lay the bread on a flat surface (aluminum foil will do) on the rack closest to the broiler in your oven (usually the top rack in the upper most position). Boil the bread on one side for a couple of minutes, flip the bread over, and give the other side a minute or so under the broiler.
enjoy
why not try toasting the bread in your oven.place bread on cookie sheet, about 250 to300 degrees.a blow torch sounds painful.
Well...I'd suggest you hammer a nail to the wall first, preferbly a part that won't matter if it gets black....and then use the blow torch on a low setting and slowly graze the toast like you'd use a hairdryer, that way the bread won't burn to quickly or fall off the nail and set you're carpet or flooring on fire and then you're whole house....and then the street...etc....if you're under 18 get a RESPONSIBLE adult to do it for you..lol....
