What are everyone's opinions on dry tuna and cucumber sandwiches on wholemeal bread?!

Question: Please take your time and give me your opinions on if you've ever had one, how good it was, and if you haven't had one then how good it sounds.

Honestly, if I were to serve this 10 years ago, everyone would have probably passed it by or tossed it after taking 1 bite. However, I have found when hosting parties lately that anything I serve that is nutritious, has vegetables, fruits or the nutritious food groups goes first. I hosted a party last weekend and the veggie tray and the Deviled eggs were the first to go. As the years progress, people are taking smaller servings if any of the non-nutritional but fun to eat foods. I personally would, however, have some kind of blend on the side with a small knife if they choose to top it with something to make it less dry for them.

Put enough mayo in the tuna so that it's not so dry...Keep in mind toasted whole-wheat bread is extremely dry..but delicious. Also utilize some seasonings and fresh herbs to really make the sandwich stand apart. I reccommend some fresh dill for the tuna.

my throat is closing up as I read the description. It think its the word dry ..... cuz I like tuna, I like cucumbers, and I love hearty grained bread ........ I would just need some mayo or salad cream on it

It doesn't sound so appealing to me. But you evidently want to avoid mayo for some reason.

What if you finely chopped or blended the cucumbers to mix with the tuna? That way it wouldn't be so dry, and would be more of a spread. Add a pinch of salt, some dill weed and chopped chives to it, too, and it could be pretty tasty.

I love inventing sandwich fillings and spreads.
