Chicken, Mushrooms, Noodles, Parmesean...I Need A A Paste Recipe!!! PLEASE HELP ME!?!


Question: I need a good recipe. I want to make a pasta dish.
I want it to be a kind of Parmasean sauce. Cooked with chicken and mushrooms...does this make sense?

Garlic Penne Pasta With Grilled Chicken

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 lb penne pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves
1 medium onion
1 medium green pepper
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2-4 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk (I use 2%)
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
salt and pepper
lemon zest
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Cook 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast in 1 tbsp olive oil for 5-7 min or until almost done add ? cup green pepper and ? cup sweet onion. Cook until tender.
Cook 1 lb penne pasta.
Add chicken, green peppers and onions too Penni pasta.
Cook 1 stick of butter or margarine until melted, add 2 handfuls of flour to make a paste, cook approx 3-5 minute Add 2 cloves of garlic, minced; cook 3-5 min more. Add 2 cups of milk and bring to boil, stirring constantly. Cook until is consistency of a sauce for pasta, approx 10-15 min stirring frequently (I use a wire whisk).
Add pasta and chicken to sauce, add lemon zest, salt and pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.
Bake in a 375°F oven for 15 minute add ? cup of Parmesan cheese and bake another 10-15 min covered.
I add grated cheese sometimes at the end of baking for a more cheesy taste.


This is the closest i could find to what you described.

INGREDIENTS
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 onion, chopped
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice
1 small yellow squash, sliced
1 small zucchini, sliced
3 carrots, diced
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
8 ounces penne pasta
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese


DIRECTIONS
Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain.
Saute garlic and onions in olive oil till onions are soft. Over high heat, quickly saute cut up chicken. Sprinkle with paprika, and cook until chicken is nicely browned.
Transfer sauteed mixture to a Dutch oven, and add vegetables and tomatoes. Simmer till vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add pasta to Dutch oven, and stir into sauce. Serve with grated parmesan cheese if desired.

Sounds like Chicken Alfredo to me.....YUM!!!
Here is a sauce recipe I use.May add a splash of white wine.

Alfredo Sauce

1 pint heavy cream
1 stick butter
2 tbsp Cream cheese,may add a little more.
3/4 cup parmesan cheese,grated fresh is better
1 tsp garlic powder
white pepper
easy on salt

Simmer cream, butter and cream cheese until melted, stirring constantly. Add parmesan and garlic podwer and simmer for about 15-20 minutes on low OR until the cheese begins to brown just slightly.
