Anyone with a good, easy holiday dessert dish.?!

Question: We are already having "Dirt Cake" ( oreos and cream cheese and pudding) but we need another dessert to go with it. Any ideas?

Death by Chocolate

Either a chocolate cake or brownies, whichever you choose, can be bought from a store or you can bake your own from a package. No matter which one you choose break it up into bite size pieces, just make sure you wait until it has cooled before doing it. If you want you can mix 1/4 cup Kahlua into the cake if you have any on hand but it's not necessary.

Make 2 packages of chocolate pudding according to the package.

One package cool whip.

Layer these in a clear bowl, first 1/2 of the cake, then 1/2 of the pudding and then 1/2 of the cool whip and then repeat the layers. Top it off with some crushed candy bars, (I like Heath), peppermints, chocolate cookies, whatever you want to top it off with.

Good luck!!!!

Lemon Pillow Cake

1 white cake mix
1 can lemon pie filling

Mix cake as directed on box and pour into a 9x13 pan. Place spoonsful of lemon pie filling in blobs over batter. Bake as directed on the box. Let cool completely. Cake batter covers blobs, so there will be pockets of lemony filling inside.

Frosting
1 can ready to spread lemon flavored frosting
1 tub of Cool Whip

Mix frosting and Cool Whip together and spread on cake. This does need to be kept refrigerated.

Variation: Use chocolate cake mix, cherry pie filling, and chocolate icing to make a Black Forest Pillow Cake.

Apple Crisp
