Eye of round roast?!

Question: How Should I make this beast? I was thinking of just simply coating it with Paula's house seasoning and slow roasting it. any other ways you may suggest? I want it to be special for Christmas, but I broke my leg so alot of stand up work it out of the question.

go here...

Season it how you like. Slow roast it for sure. Place a pan of water at the bottom of the oven during cooking.

I always buy the roast seasoning packs from the grocery store. It also comes with an oven bag that keeps the juices inside and makes the meat really tender. Or, you could use onion soup mix. Just mix the onion soup powder and mix it with about 1/2 cup of water and pour it over the roast. Add veggied like potatoes and onions and carrots and place them around the roast. They'll absorb the flavor while they cook with the meat and you'll pretty much have a meal in one dish.

marinate it in creamy ranch salad dressing before the slow roasting. It will brown nicely and have a deep rich flavor.

well the best thing would probable stick it in a crock pot. and let it slow roast, put potatoes, carrots, onions, and other veggies, then just let it cook on a low temperature, and let it cook for a long period of time, and when it comes out it will be real nice and tender
