Can i use Peanut Oil Instead of Vegetable Oil to make sweet potato bread?!
Answers: I don't have any vegetable oil, and would it make a difference in taste? What the difference between the two.
peanut oil cooks at a much higher temp - meaning it can take alot more heat before it burns.
i dunno, to be honest. the taste will be different, nuttier. i am not sure how it will affect your bread, but it is worth a shot. you could always use butter - melt it and let it cool a bit first - but it would be a better replacement because it has a lower heat tolerance and will cook more like veg. oil.
I like peanut oil. It will be fine.
I think there is a difference but there are some Sweet Potato Bread recipes that don't require any oil usage at all except greasing the bowl. I don't think that sounds like a good idea though.
