Is a can of vegetables an acceptable substitute for Christmas dinner?!

Question: Stop it, you're making me sad...don't make me come out there and fix you dinner ;)

Answers: Stop it, you're making me sad...don't make me come out there and fix you dinner ;)

It would be better than the hospital food I had to eat tonight.
Not so sure about the peas though, yuck!

If thats all you got. There are lots of people going without tonight. God Bless

hell yes they are acceptable. slap some butter in those puppies and a dab of salt and call them your own. i do it. no one has ever complained of canned veggies.

Don't you have a family member you could call for help? Or a friend? I am sure there is someone who could buy you a dinner tonight and you could pay them back...if not,,,just remember that there are many people going hungry tonight,,with no hope of a paycheck,,I know it is doesn't seem like much of a blessing to a lot in this world it would be....I am sorry,,,I went hungry for a bit back in my younger days....so I can sympathize but not much else...you do have that though.....this too shall pass....change is one thing we can all count on....times will be better....

man, you could at least have some frozen veggies, they have much higher nutritional value..add some ketchup and water to your peas and you have vegetable soup.

I am on my way, sweetheart ... with a Rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and my delicious homemade apple pie !!!!
Oh, yes, and 14 pounds of bacon, too ................

I'll send you some canned carrots so that at least your dinner will be colorful.

no! come let me feed you!

seems like it would be more fun to throw that can of vegetables at something, and if that something dies you have new meal options

better than nothing! you got some butter, or margarine? some baby onions? salt/pepper?{oh, sh!t, do you got a can opener? cause if you don't....damn!} okay, plan B: you got a family, a friend, or a neighbor? don't be ashamed, you better tell somebody you hungry!
