No need to boil first. Peel them, top and tail, cut them into quarters, remove the hard core and roast for about 30-40 mins(depending on how firm you like them). Hope you have a good lunch!

dont cut them too thick say just over 1/2 an inch thick dont bother with boiling them put them in at the same time you put the roast potatoes on gas mark 5 for about 40 mins

I agree with the above, don't forget to use oil and turn them 1-2 times.I would roast at 400 degrees.

boil them for 5-10 minutes, makes them softer. if you like them crunchyer dont do this

roast for 30-40 minutes depending on how crispy you want them in a little fat for extra crispyness

Hey you dont have to core them .Just top and tail, peel, cut in half lengthways rub some oil over them put them in the oven .
lovely soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside You dont have to boil first

Prepare them any shape you want. Coat in maple syrup or honey, if it's to your taste. Place on a pre-heated oven tray containing hot oil, 200 degrees (centigrade) for 30mins. Turn occasionally. Make a little more than you need so you can taste them as they cook.

You could also try putting some honey or maple syrup on them then roasting them - very nice.

I usually par-boil for about 8 minutes as I find they go too hard if I roast them from raw.
They don't take long to roast - I only give them about 40 minutes, turning them halfway through.
