good luck! hope i helped! :))

toast butter cinimon sugar..

Home made banana cream pies!

This is for two 9 inch pies

2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups milk
4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 TBSP butter, softened
1 TBSP + 1 tsp Vanilla
4 Large Bananas

Stir together sugar, cornstarch and salt into sauce pan. Blend milk and egg yolks; gradually stir into sugar mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir for one minute.

Remove from heat; blend in butter and vanilla. Press plastic wrap into filling in sauce pan and cool to around room temperature.

Peel and Slice bananas; arrange layer of banana slices 1/2 inches deep in Gramcracker pie shell. Pour in cooled filling and chill pie for the very least 2 hours. Top with whipped cream before serving.

If this sounds too advanced for you (it is really easy, though) you can use instant pudding.

both of these sites have some very simple no fail dessert recipes.

Keep it simple. Try a jello dessert, using the package and 1 cup boiling water and let it dissolve and 1 cup cream, tinned milk or whole milk. Lovely dessert. You can even whip it up before it solidifies.

Just one recipe but my family have been enjoying for years, the children and grandchildren and diabetics like it as well. You said you were just getting going on this cooking business.

okk,,, Pineapple Fluff.. an outstanding desert.

1 can of pineapple, drain the syrup.
1 tin of sweetened condensed milk
1 packet of pineapple jelly, settled ( like the way u make it in the boiling water and set it ... so we need that jelly one packet)
1 packet of cream

Blend them all in a blender for few seconds, make sure tht everything has got blended well and no pieces of pineapple are left.

pour in the serving dish and keep in the refrigerator for 45-1 hr.. till it gets cold.. eat it. You will remember me at every bite.lolz.. yes trust me. its simple and outstanding ~!

Here's a very simple one:
(1) Sara Lee pound cake, comes in 2 sizes
(1) container of frozen strawberries, comes in several sizes, or use fresh ones
(1) container of Cool Whip, comes in several sizes

Decide how many servings you need, then buy the correct sizes of ingredients. If you use fresh berries, wash, remove tops and slice, then mix with 2-3 tablespoons sugar and allow to sit in the fridge for a hour or so before serving. To serve, slice the cake, top with berries and then with Cool Whip. Easy and delicious!

Here's another one:
CHOCOLATE GOO CAKE (aka Better than Sex Cake)
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 jar caramel or butterscotch ice cream topping
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1/2 bag Heath milk chocolate toffee bits
Bake cake as directed on package (9 x 13 inch pan). While cake is still warm, punch holes about one inch apart over entire cake using a wooden spoon handle. Pour whole can of sweet milk over cake. Pour entire jar of topping over cake. Allow to cool slightly, cover, and refrigerate all day or overnight. To serve, cover top of cake with thawed Cool Whip and sprinkle with toffee bits.
