RICE AND HAMBURGER CROCK POT

2 lbs. ground beef
2 onions, cut up
1 can tomatoes
1 can tomato soup, undiluted
1 c. uncooked rice

Brown beef in hot fry pan. Put in crock pot and add remaining ingredients that have been mixed well. Put on low and should be ready by 6:30 p.m. if started in the a.m.

CROCK POT GOULASH

4-5 potatoes, peeled & chopped in bottom of crock pot
1 med. onion, chopped
1-2 sliced carrots
Corn
Peas
1 lb. hamburger
Salt & pepper
1 can tomato soup

Starting with potatoes layer vegetables in crock pot. (You may use frozen vegetables but you will need to add about 1/2 cup water.) Place raw hamburger on top of vegetables and top with the tomato soup. Cook on high 4-5 hours or low 6-8 hours.

CROCK POT ENCHILADAS

1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
1 sm. can chilies
1 sm. can mild enchilada sauce
1 can golden mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 lg. pkg. Dorito chips

Brown hamburger and chopped onion, pour off grease. Put all ingredients in crock pot except Dorito chips. Mix and cook low 4 to 6 hours. Last 15 minutes before you are ready to eat, add Dorito chips and stir.

I make chili in a crock pot. Ground beef, canned tomatoes, chopped onions, garlic, cumin, kidney beans, and mild pepper rings. Cook on high for 2 hours, or low for 6 hours. Serve with grated cheese. Everyone loves it.

I just made a batch of chili in mine and kids would like taco meat.Flavors nicely.

Crockpot Meatball and Dumpling Stew

1 recipe of meatballs (see below)
1 package dehydrated onion soup mix
6 cups hot water
1 can cream of celery soup
2-3 carrots peeled and sliced
1/2 lb (or 1 can) green beans
1 can sliced tomatoes, or 1 medium sliced fresh tomato
1 cup Bisquick (or similar biscuit mix)
1 tbsp chopped parsley

Place cream of celery soup and dried onion soup mix in crockpot. Cover with about 1/2 of the hot water and stir until mixed, then add the remaining water. Add carrots, green beans, and tomatoes & stir just until mixed. Add meatballs, cover, and cook on low heat about 3 1/2 hours. Turn crockpot heat to high. In a small bowl, combine biscuit mix with parsley. Stir in enough water (or milk) with fork until you have a stiff dough. Drop dumpling mixture into crockpot with a teaspoon. Cover and cook on high for about 30 minutes.

Meatballs

1 lb hamburger or ground beef
1 egg
1 small chopped onion (~1/3 cup)
1/3 c dry bread crumbs
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk

Mix ingredients together. Shape mixture into 1 to 1-1/2-inch balls (wet your hands in cold water and shaping of meatballs will be easier) Heat salad oil (enough to prevent sticking) in a large skillet. Cook meatballs over medium heat until brown--about 20 minutes. Drain off excess fat (save a little for the crockpot, if you like).

Sweet and Sour meatballs... I don't have the recipe on me but this is a similar one (make rice and your favorite veggie on the side) http://www.a-crock-cook.com/crock-pot-me...

OR

Beef and Veggie soup
http://crockpot.betterrecipes.com/beefve...

I make a meatloaf in the crock pot. I mix up the ground beef, pork and veal, mix in what ever spices I am using (salt, pepper, garlic, chili, what ever) plus an egg, some panko bread crumbs and plop it into the crock pot. Sometimes I will put bbq sauce on top, or bacon slices or a can of tomatoes with green chilis.......set the temp for high, cover.

in about 2 hours, its done. You can set it on low temp and let cook for longer is you need it to.
