Easiest salad dressing that has sugar?!


Question: i remember some1 did a very simple dressing and they added sugar to it..it tasted amazing but im not sure how to make it. ideas?

Italian Salad Dressing

3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon grated parmesan cheese

Combine all ingredients in a bottle.
Shake to blend.
Makes about 1 cup

Just sprinkle a Little on top i love lettuce

You can really just mix one up yourself per your own tastes.... some oil and vinegar with a pinch of sugar and some herbs ... shake her up and there you go.

********CATALINA SALAD DRESSING
3 c. catsup
2 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. red wine vinegar
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
Pinch garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Mix well and refrigerate.

This one is delish:

3 Tblsp red vinegar
2 Tblsp sugar
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp garlic powder
Dash ground red pepper
3/4 cup vegetable oil

My answers isn't exactly what you are looking for, but a good idea for a easy dressing. Is to buy one of those Italian packages that is just a powder. They sell it right next to the regular dressings at the store. All you add is vinegar, water and oil. It is easy, cheap, and delicious.

as a chef I make several dressings but the easiest i know is just 2 cups of rice wine vinegar with freshly chopped ginger , maybe two tablespoons, and two tablespoons of white sugar

Cranberry Spinach Salad

1 tablespoon butter
3/4 cup toasted almonds
1 pound spinach
1 cup cranberry craisins
1 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1/4 cup white sugar
2 teaspoon minced onion
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
