Unique twists on common foods?!

Question: Does anyone out there have a unique twist on a common food? For example, I'm thinking of trying a grilled peanut butter & jelly sandwich. I just thought it would be different lol...

What are some other twists you have tried on common foods?

Try adding peas and canned chicken in mac n cheese!

I smoked a duck through a crenamic smoker. Then stuffed it with chirizo habenero garlic aioli stuffing. BEST experiment ever

Mac & Cheese

boil whatever noodles you like
melt velveeta cheese and stir in a can of cream of mushroom soup
mix noodles in and bake for about 5-7 mins on 300 degrees

ENJOY!!

Replace the milk in Kraft Macaroni and Cheese with an amber beer (I suggest Killian's). It makes the cheddar taste like good, sharp cheese... I don't eat mac and cheese any other way since discovering this.

i know I'm going to go home and try magnutc's recipe--sounds awesome. i'm intrigued by the grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich--let us know how that turns out. i like making chicken lasagna--no tomato sauce (i suffer from acid reflux)--you just use cut up chicken, lasagna noodles, moz and ricotta cheese, black olives, green onions---layer it like regular lasagna and cook at 350 for about an hr.

Try a grilled peanut butter, bacon and banana sandwich.

I had some left over lasagna sheets once, and all i had in the cupboard was tins of tuna and corn kernels. I made a white sauce with the tuna, corn, garlic, onion, and milk / cream. I layered that in the lasagna sheets and topped with cheddar cheese. I was completely blown away by how good it tasted!
You should try it and have your grilled pbj for dessert lol.

I add grilled and fresh veggies to Grilled cheese - and canned tuna or tamales to Mac n cheese. Both sound odd but are really tasty.
