Shrimp Scampi!

one bag fetuccini - cook until al dente with splash olive oil.

Simmer:
chopped onion, chives, 2 cloves or more garlic in olive oil and garlic salt.
Add:
one bag shrimp (uncooked preferably) peel, then simmer in olive oil until pink.

Pour shrimp over pasta on your plate and dig in!
Very healthy dish if you use wheat pasta but regular is the best.

ENJOY!

PS: Here's a great dessert that always looks fancy but is practical:
buy Haagen Daz Lemon sorbet ice cream. Scoop into pretty dishes. Pour half cup chilled champagne over and enjoy!
(Don't use cheap champagne - go for Chandon - 11-12 dollars/bottle. :)

Still working on Christmas leftovers

I'm doing frozen tonight. My partner is visiting her dad in the hospital tonight and won't be home until late.

(I'd go too, but she's leaving 1/2 day at work and someone needs to look after our dog... and her dad is 2 hours away)

well i was going to make some bacon wrap fillets but i think i will make my homemade pizza with garlic crust

someing with hambuger.

Pepper steak: cut flank steak into strips. Cut one red pepper and one green pepper, and one onion the same way. Slice some mushrooms. Saute, in sesame oil, the mushrooms and peppers first, then add the onions, then add the steak, and cook until everything is done. While they are cooking, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Rice goes nicely with this, but I feel my husband should make that.

Shrimp Curry with the leftover shrimp cocktail.

We are having leftover pork chops that were marinated in Italian dressing and breaded in Italian style bread crumbs mixed with Parmesan and Romano cheeses and baked at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes with smashed potatoes and French style green beans.

********STUFFED BELL PEPPERS
5 or 6 green peppers, med. size
1 pkg. Stove Top dressing (your choice of flavor)
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground meat (turkey, veal or beef)
1 egg
Bread crumbs (plain or seasoned)
butter (sm. amount)
Cut peppers in halves; clean and remove seeds, then place in boiling water for about 5 minutes or softened. Place in baking pans and put aside. Brown ground meat. Remove excess fat if necessary.
Prepare Stove Top dressing and mix with brown meat. Beat egg and fold into mixture. Fill pepper halves, top with bread crumbs and a dab of butter on top. Fill bottom of baking pan or pans with a small amount of water. Bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 30 minutes (or until brown).
Peppers can be frozen and cooked later. Yield: Will fill 10 or 12 halves according to size of peppers. Leftovers can be placed in a casserole for another meal.

I am ordering pizza or Chinese. I haven't decided.

Nothing I usually have takeout on Fridays
