I am looking for an iron from europe to make stroope?!
Answers: I believe its a dutch recipe, anyway I finally got the recipe, and the gal says if I can't find the iron it won't work, she got it in europe. You place a teaspoon of batter on it and in 10 sec its done, then use stek knife to pull it apart and put the br sugar layer between the two waffle cookies. Tastes alot like leftsa to me and I want to find the iron to buy, have any notions?
Don't bother to make your own "stroopwafels". Type "dutch products" into your browser and they'll deliver them to your door.
Yeah, "stroopwafflen"... You want to know about Dutch, ask a Dutchman.

The best way to make cookies for stroopwafflen (that you'll find in the US) is a pizelle maker. They are available at most specialty and department stores and cost about $30. They make very thin, crisp cookies that you can flavor with just about any sort of extract. Try Linens & Things or Bed, Bath and Beyond for starters.
