HOT SPINACH DIP

1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (cubed)
1 to 2 tsp minced garlic
1 package frozen spinach, thawed and
squeezed of its juices
1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, chopped
(can also use frozen) and (thawed)
Combine all ingredients. Place in shallow casserole dish.

You can either bake the dip for about 15 to 20 minutes at 325*F, this is the best method,
but I have also found that you can just heat it in the microwave for a few minutes. I think it is better baked but if you are pressed for time, microwave
.

Hi!
Yes I love it! I make it with:

a 500 ml tub of sour cream, a box of frozen chopped spinach, and a package of knorr vegetable soup mix. one 8 oz can of water chestnuts-chopped, 2-3 green onions- chopped (optional)

like this:
mix sour cream with package of vegetable soup mix, chopped chestnuts and onions, set aside,
thaw spinach, squeeze out excess water, add to sour cream mixture, cover and refridgerate 2-3 hours, great with torn pumpernickle bread or tortilla chips!
Some people add mayonaise, but I find that making it with just sour cream keeps the calories lower.
Any how Happy Holidays! & enjoy!

My sister makes THE BEST spinach & artichoke dip!---

Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip!

1 1/2 cups half-and-half
8 oz. grated Monterey Jack cheese
8 oz. light cream cheese
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
Fresh ground pepper to taste
3/4 lb. fresh spinach (stemmed and chopped)
2-14 oz cans of artichoke hearts (rinsed, drained and chopped)
tortilla chips, pita, etc. for dipping

Bring the cream to a simmer over medium heat and add the Monterey Jack, cream cheese, garlic powder, Worcestershire, salt and fresh pepper. Continuously stir to prevent sticking until the cheeses melt.
While slowly stirring, add the spinach & artichoke hearts. Stir until mixed and the spinach is wilted.
