Is guacamole bad for you?!

Question: avacodos are a complete food (its an excellent baby food, as well as bananas).. but high in fats... it is loaded with tons of vitamins and minerals... but since its such a fatty food, they say to limit the amount you eat of avacodos per week, the fats are a good fat, but none the less, still fats.... so if you are watching your weight, dont over do it...

Good Gawd I hope NOT! I'd be dead by now.

Avocados are high in fat, but high in mono-unsaturated fat which is very good for you (in moderation).

Enjoy!!

not that I know of

No..at least you get a little fruit.

no

No, as far as snacks go, it is extremely healthy, because it is made with avocado. Avocado is full of the "good" healthy fat that your body needs.

no it is actually ok for you

funny you should ask -- I just ate a whole bowl full! And researched while eating it!

Guacamole is not bad for you. It contains many excellent nutrients, no cholesterol, etc. However, if you're not skinny like me, it should be eaten in moderation, because it is very high in calories. It's very high in good fats, so if you get zits, stay away. Also, avocado can be laxative... so I may be spending some time on the toilet soon... it was just so tasty!

But it's really healthy in most ways -- like most vegetable based foods. Really, the only problem with guacamole is the calories.

not at all! it has the type of cholesterol that's good for you.

actually avocado is full of that good oil - not the bad kind- and vitamin E
It is one of the top health food

nope. avocado actually lowers cholesterol, so i guess it would be good for you. but i guess all the salt and extra stuff isn't so good for you, but who cares.....it's YUMMY

euhhh yo idk dawg but i kno sum1 dat kan jelp u! ma tcher is smort n he kno.

me broke so i wuld eet it.

iiiggghht!!! piece out

No, it is a little fattening but as with anything moderation is the key.

Not really, but it should be done in balance and moderation

Guacamole can be very bad for you. It can also be very good for you.

Avocados are an extremely healthy food on their own, but when you turn it into guacamole, that's when things can go bad. It really depends on what you add to make your guacamole. If you add other healthy foods to the avocados, you're still fine. But if you add fattening, high calorie foods, then that guac would not be good for you. Hope this helps~

No it is not bad for you but I would not eat it on a daily basis. It has a high fat content so I would eat it only occasionally. You would be much better off to just buy avocados and slice them up and put on a sandwich.

Eating or drinking too much of anything can be harmful to the human body. Too much water in your system can be lethal. Guacamole is not bad for you. Avocados (its main ingredient) have more potassium than a bananas. Simply do not consume excess amounts of it.

It depends on what you put in it..um pardon me...(yelling back at kitchen..."Jorge! no more beer in the guacamole!")...(big smile) teehee...um ...where was I?

Not unless you are a pet; avocados are safe and healthy for humans but poisonous to some birds, and other animals. So don't feed that guacamole dipped chip to your doggy or he might not feel that good in the morning.

No it just tastes that way

Im not sure try looking it up!

yes once i fed it to my grandmother and it made her run so fast still havent seen her. i think she went to mexico to get some more
