How is the way to prepare a luxury beef fillet steak to taste the nicest?!
Take care not to let the garlic burn though. Not nice then!
Also, I remove the meat from the fridge for 15 minutes, more taste then, than if cooked very cold.
Answers: I find fillet steak isn't the tastiest (I prefer sirloin for flavour) so, I always fry with a crushed garlic clove, and black pepper, that helps to add flavour.

zogi eat raw
sear it in a pan on both sides until they have a nice colour then whack them in the oven, still in the same pan, (watch you dont have plastic handles) then cook for about 6mins if you want them rare 10 mins medium and about 14 well done.

As rammie but coat with crushed mixed peppercorns before
searing
smother it in sweet and sour sauce (with out the chunks) and sprinkle with thyme. Leave it for and hour or so until it is worked into the steak, then cook until it looks good and smells delicious! Good luck!xx
Surf n Turf, Cut a slit in the steak and stuff with mature cheese and prawns then seat in a hot pan on all sides just until the cheese starts to ooze out, it should then be rare/med, fillet is ruinined if overcooked. use butter in the pan for a rich taste. serve with of course chips preferbly home made and a large mushroom and onion rings.
There are many sauces or other things you can do with fillet but this is one of the most popular and is simple too :)
I would slap it on the grill pan like the greeks do and when its a good colour on both sides I would sprinkle black pepper and salt and eat straightaway with some tossed greek salad and a glass of wine yummmmy
This is a really nice piece of meat so just keep it very simple - no overpowering herbs or spices - it will ruin it.
Cook the steak to your liking in a griddle pan brushed with a little olive oil.
Bring some flavour into the dish with the other food which is going on the plate eg. garlic & herb mushrooms, roast spuds with rosemary.
Well, I like to do the following:
Fresh Garlic
Fresh Rosemary
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Crushed Sea Salt
Beef Fillet
Pan that has a lid and some tin foil
Roll fillet in crushed salt and black pepper
Preheat the pan (you need to get it really hot, add the oil, let that heat up, this is so that you sear the meat perfectly, it holds in the juices and cooks streak properly)
Once the pan is ready, drop in the fillet, sealing all sides, adding in the garlic. Once you have sealed it, cover the pan with tin foil and then put the lid on. Keep over heat or pop in the oven to almost roast. Dependent on how you lie you meat done, medium rare should take about 15 minutes.
To make an excellent sauce use some of the juices, fresh cream, white sauce fresh green Madagascan pepper corns, use the same pan to cook this, not too long, you want it to be warm not to curdle. Serve up with fat chips, a little sour cream and a good side salad.

salt and pepper it before you cook it
heat butter in pan with alittle olive oil and then just show your steak the heated pan both sides. If you've got a good steak it'll melt in your mouth, you must not cook it above rare. add to it, if you must, a sauce of shallots fried in olive oil and a little red wine
