Answers: I cant cook so make as easy as possible but still tastes good.

hi.

I'd try it with the same ingredients as I would bake. An envelope of Lipton onion soup, a can of Campbells mushroom soup, an onion or 2, some carrots....what ever other veggies you want and can fit (small whole potatoes, mushrooms, etc.). Just add a little water and I would trim off most of the fat. Now I'm hungry!!! (don't salt, soup will have plenty)

Hey!
Put the pot roasr in the crock pot with a package of onion soup mix, a can of mushrooms juice an all and half a cup of italian salad dressin like Wishbone and cook, Cook for about an hour per pound, to a max of 6 hours. You can add veggies if you like. This makes an awesome gravy as well. Good luck!

The recipe from Bonnie C is the best. It is easy and delicious. I put meat tenderizer on my roast also before I put it in the pot. It is delicious. I cook it on high for several hours.

POT ROAST IN A CROCK

1 beef roast, thawed
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. Lipton Onion Soup mix
2 cans water
White or red potatoes, cut up in chunks
Small baby carrots

Wash roast and toss it in the crockpot. Cut in large pieces if you need to fit it in your crockpot. Add cans of soup and Lipton mix. Add 2 cans of water - crockpot makes its
own water, so depending on how thick you want your gravy, you may have to add a little flour to the liquid afterwards. Add cut up potatoes and carrots. Cook 6-8 hours on low.

CROCKPOT BAVARIAN POT ROAST
3-4 lb. beef arm or chuck pot roast
1 tsp. vegetable oil
1-1/2 tsp. salt
Pinch of pepper
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
3 whole cloves
4 medium apples, cored and quartered (leave skin on)
1 small onion, sliced
1/2 C. apple juice
3-4 Tbs. flour
3-4 Tbs. water

Wipe roast well and trim off all excess fat. Lightly rub top of meat with oil. Dust meat with salt, pepper and ginger. Insert cloves into meat. Place apples and onions in bottom of crockpot. Put roast on top of the apples and onions. Pour in the apple juice. Cover and cook on a low setting for 8 to 12 hours. Remove the roast and apples to a warm platter when fully cooked. Pour the liquid out of the crockpot into a saucepan. Drain off as much of the fat as you can. Make smooth paste with the flour and water and stir the paste into the liquid. Cook liquid over medium heat until thickened, five to ten minutes. Serve gravy alongside the sliced roast, apples and onions.

1 Pot Roast
1 can of Campbells Onion or Cream of Mushroom soup
1 can of water
1 bag of "Soup" vegetables from the produce section OR the freezer section (there's usually some carrots potatos, onion and celery already ready to dump into the pot)

Throw it all in.

cook for 4-6 hours
