How do I make homemade pancake mix?!

Question: Here is my family recipe...doing it for 40 years!

1 1/3 cup all purpose flour.
3 tablespoons sugar.
3 teaspoons baking powder.
1/4 teaspoon salt.

1 1/4 cup 2% milk.
1 egg beaten.
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.
3 tablespoons melted butter (added last).

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and immediately pour in melted butter.

Mix ingredients together until there are just a few little lumps. (Don't mix too much).

Preheat grittle 425F to 450F and grease with butter.

Drop mixture on pan (usually 3 spoonfulls will make a good cake) and when bubbles pop on top, time to flip. You can check if done by lifting up side of pancake to see how brown it is...some people like them crispy.

Note...you must use pure maple syrup, not the fake corn syrup.

If you like flavors...you can add 1 or 2 cups of any frozen fruit you like to the mixture and fold in. I personally like blueberries or pineapple. (Just make sure the pineapple is cut into small pieces.)

If you like flavors...you can add 1 or 2 cups of any frozen fruit you like to the mixture and fold in. I personally like blueberries or pineapple. (Just make sure the pineapple is cut into small pieces.)

10 cups flour
2 1/2 cups powdered milk
2 tablespoons salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking powder

Mix these ingredients together and store in tight container until ready to use.
use 1 1/2 cups of this mixture.
1 egg slightly beat, 1 cup water and 3 tbsp oil.
Mix well and pour on hot griddle that has been lightly oiled.

INGREDIENTS:

* 2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred or sifted before measuring
* 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 egg, slightly beaten
* 1 1/2 cups milk
* 2 tablespoons melted butter

PREPARATION:
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine egg and milk; add to flour mixture, stirring only until smooth. Blend in melted butter. Cook on a hot, greased griddle, using about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.

Make up a bunch of tupperware containers with the following dry ingredients:
1 1/4 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar

Put label on top of each container saying: "Add 1 egg and 1 cup milk"

Whenever you need pancakes you don't even have to make any new bowls dirty - just stir egg and milk in the dry container with a fork - no need to overbeat this.

Now anyone in the house can easily make pancakes which are much healthier than bought boxes. My kids do this all the time.

flour and water

Ingredients in this order..
2 eggs beat well

This recipe makes the best pancakes you have ever tested. I multiply it by 6 and keep it in an airtight rubbermaid container so I can have a pancake whenever I want.

Basic Pancake Mix

2 cups flour
2 tsp. bkg. pwdr.
1 tsp. bkg. soda
1/2 tsp salt
Mix well.
Mix 2 cups milk, 1/3 cup oil and 2 eggs. Add to dry and stir until just blended.
I keep the dry mix and when I want a couple of pancakes I just take out a cup of mix, add 1 cup water, an egg and a dash of oil. I get about 5 pancakes out of that amount. These are the best!

If you like buttermilk pancakes substitute 1/4cup of buttermilk in place of 1/4 C. of regular milk.

If you like your pancakes thinner add 1/4 C more milk until consistency you prefer is reached.
