Making panner tikka?!


Question: Recipe 1:

Ingredients

Paneer - 250 gms
Thick Curd - 1/2 cup (tied in cloth for 2 hours)
Ginger - 1" (grated)
Garlic - 1/2 (crushed)
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Tandoori Masala - 1/2 tsp
Chaat Masala - 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp (crushed)
Capsicum, Onion, Tomato, Carrot juliennes - 1 tbsp each (long thin strips)
Coriander - 1/2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Butter - 1 tbsp

Method

Cut paneer into 1/2" horizontal slabs.
Mix the red chilli, salt, sugar, cumin, tandoori masala, half the ginger-garlic and chopped coriander in the curd. Mix well.
Brush the slabs of paneer liberally with this dip on both sides and edges.
Marinate for 30 minutes.
Place in refrigerator till required.
Before serving, heat a non-stick pan.
Add butter and place slices to sizzle till light brown.
Flip and repeat for other side.
Cut into bite size square and arrange in serving dish.
Add remaining butter to pan, heat.
Add julinned vegetables, chaat masala and salt to taste.
Pour over the tikka paneer.
Serve hot with tiny fruit forks and sauce.

Making time: Curd - 2 hours, Marination - 30 minutes, Remaining - 30 minutes.

Ingredients:



1 Large block of Paneer
1 onion
1 Capsicum
1 Tomato
Few Mushrooms
Finely chopped Coriander leaves
To Marinade:
1/2 cup Curd (plain yogurt)
1 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Ginger Paste
2 tsp Tandoori powder
1 tsp cumin (jeera) powder
2 tsp Chaat powder
Salt to taste
Red chili Powder to taste

How to make indian paneer tikka recipe :

* Cut Paneer into long 1/2" thick cubes.
* Cut all vegetables into cubes.
* Mix all ingredients for marinade and keep aside.
* Add the left marinade to the vegetables.
* Brush the marinade to the paneer and refrigerate it for 3 hours.
* Heat oil in a kadhai and fry marinated paneer till fully done.
* Also fry other vegetables.
* In a plate arrange fried vegetables and then paneer.
* Garnish with coriander and lemon slices
* Serve tandoori paneer tikka hot with hari chutney.

recipe 3:

Hariyali Paneer Tikka

Ingredients

Paneer 400gms
Curd 1cup
Coriander -2bunch
Mint 1bunch
Green chilies 4 to 6
Garlic 30gm
Ginger Paste 1tsp
Grounded garam masala 1tsp
Chat masala 1tsp
Salt To taste
Oil 1tbsp
Juice of two lemons

Method

1. Put coriander leaves, mint leaves,green chillies,garlic, ginger paste &lemon juice in a mixer & grind it to a paste.
2. Cut Paneer in big slices.
3. To the grinned mixture add curd, salt, garam masala powder, chat masala powder oil.
4. Marinate Paneer in this mixture for half an hour.
5. You can cook it in tandoor, or put little oil in a pan & cook it on high flame, or heat oven to maximum heat & cook for ten minutes.
6. Garnish with onion rings & serve hot.

Recipe 4:

Panner Tikka Kebab


Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serves / Makes : 4

Ingredients
Paneer Cubes-1inch pieces
Capsicum green-1inch pieces
Tandoori Chicken Masala-4 Spoons
Red chilli powder
Chaat masala
Lemon-4 drops
Ginger crushed-1 Spoon
Salt
Oil

Method
Take a bowl, add paneer,capsicum,chilli powder,salt,tandoori chicken masala,chaat masala,lemon drops.
Mix them all together well.
Marinate that batter for overnight.
Next day Pre heat the grill for 5 mins.
Grill the pieces of paneer and capsicum together for 10 mins.

No but one of my friends make paneer tikka

Paneer Tikka

2 cups panir, diced (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup red capsicums, chopped
1/2 cup thick curds
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
2 tablespoons chopped coriander
1 teaspoon chat masala
1 tablespoon oil
salt

Combine the curds,ginger-garlic paste, chilli powder, kasuri methi, garam masala, coriander, oil and salt and mix well to prepare a marinade.
Add the paneer and capsicum and keep aside for 15-25 minutes.
Arrange the marinated paneer and capsicum pieces in a shallow glass dish and microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes.
Serve hot,sprinkled with chaat masala.

Pahadi Paneer Tikka

1/2 cup red capsicums, diced
1/2 cup onions, diced
1/2 cup panir, diced
3-4 baby potatoes, boiled and unpeeled
1/4 cup mint, chopped
1/2 cup coriander, chopped
5-6 cashews
1/4 cup thick curds
2-3 green chilies
1 inch fresh ginger (25 mm.)
1 teaspoon mustard oil
salt

Grind together the mint, coriander, cashew nuts, green chillies and ginger.
Mix the coriander paste with the curds, mustard oil and salt. Keep aside.
Add the capsicum, onions, paneer and potatoes to the marinade and leave aside for ? an hour.
Thread a piece of onion, potato, capsicum and paneer each onto a wooden skewer. Repeat till all the pieces are used up.
Place the skewers into a microwave safe shallow plate and microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes.
Remove and spoon the marinate from the plate back onto the tikkas and microwave on HIGH for another 2 minutes.
Serve hot with tomato slices and lemon wedges.
Tips.
VARIATION : FOR THE GRILL OPTION.
Preheat the microwave, using the microwave and grill option, to 250°C (500°F) for approximately 9 minutes.
Place the tikkas onto a microwave safe shallow plate and microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes.
Serve hot.
