Chicken pakora???!


Question: Recipe 1 :

Chicken Pakoda

Ingredients

1 kg chicken (cut into smallish pieces)
Garlic paste 10 grms
Ginger paste 10 grms
Corn flour --- 1 small cup or Chana flour
Chillie powder ---- 2 tbsp
Dhania powder --- 2tbsp
Jeera powder ----- 2tbsp
Garam masala---- 2tbsp
Oil --- 2tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method

1. Cut chicken into small pieces of your own size and wash them thoroughly.
2. Mix the chicken pieces with all the ingredients mentioned and keep them aside for about 2 to 3 hours. Later, Deep-fry the pieces in medium heated oil. At last chop the onion to fine pieces.
3. Garnish the pakodas with onion and lemon juice
4. This dish is one of the favorites for East Indians. My husband like this dish.

Recipe 2:

Ingredients

1/2 kg Chicken
1 tsp Garlic-Ginger paste
1 tsp Salt
1 cup Besan
2 tsp Chilli Powder
Pinch of Turmeric powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
Oil for deep fry

METHOD

1. Cut chicken into small pieces and boil it.
2. Let it be cool.
3. Add all the above ingredients and fry it.
4. Serve hot chicken pakoda with onion.

Recipe 3 :

Ingredients
1/2 kg chicken (without skin & bones)
100 grams corn flour
Salt to taste
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Garam Masala 1 tbsp
Ginger and garlic paste 1 tbsp
Chopped Green chillies 2 (optional)
Oil for deep frying pakodas.

To Garnish:
1 finely chopped onion,
Juice of 1 lime (optional)

Method
Cut the chicken into small pieces.
Make a thick batter of corn flour and custard powder by adding water, salt, and chilli powder.
Mix the chicken with this paste and keep them aside for 2 hours.
Now heat the oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken pieces over the medium heat.
Mix chopped onion and lime juice.
Garnish Pakodas in a serving dish with chopped onions.
Serve as appetizers or snack.


Recipe 4 :

Ingredients:



500 gm Boneless Chicken Pieces
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1-2 each Chopped Green Chillies (Jalapeno)
1 Chopped Onion
1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
2 tsp Vinegar
1 cup Curd
1 tsp Lemon juice


Preparation:

* Put everything but chicken and batter in blender and blend till fine
* Marinate the chicken pcs with the resulting mixture
* Keep in the fridge for 40 minutes.
* Put chicken in batter
* Deep fry it until its colour changes to golden brown Condiments
* Serve the chicken pakora with coriander or mint chutney or tomato ketchup

Chicken Pakora

Ingredients:

boneless chicken pcs(medium) - 500gm
curd - 1cup
salt - as taste
red chilli pw - 2tsp
viniger - 2tsp
soya sauce - 2tsp
onion paste - 2tsp
ginger-garlic paste - 2tsp
oil to fry - 500gm

Method:
Marinate the chicken pcs with all the above ingreidients and refrigerate it for 35 minutes.After that deep fry it untill its colour changes to golden brown.Serve hot with onion and cucumber salad.
