How can i make something that is really spicey not as spicey?!
1) If this is a dish that is already made, you can add a little sugar, and that will cut the perceived heat.
Note: this also works on a dish that is too salty. It doesn't remove the salt, but it makes it edible.
2) If this is a dish that hasn't been made yet, reduce the amount of heat inducing spices (peppers, chiles, etc.).
If by spicy, you mean spicy (with herbs) but not spicy hot:
1) If this dish has already been made, the only thing you could do is to "dilute" the dish by increasing the other ingredients. For example, in a overly spiced tomato sauce, add more tomato.
2) If this dish has not yet been made, reduce the amount of spices to your liking.

and don't forget to put to green chillies.
water it down?
Start over.
Sort of depends on what it is. If it's a sauce you can add some sour cream. If it isn't something you can dilute, eat it with sour cream or bread or milk that will help your mouth handle it. If you give us more info we can be more helpful.
put some cream or natural yoghurt in it or even coconut milk, im not a fan of spicyfood and one of these normally helps to reduce the spice
If you have not made it yet--put in half the amount of spices called for in the recipe. (or less anyway) If it is already made--that is a hard one.
*****Do You mean hot spicy, or spice Spicy.
Which ever just cut back the Ingredient by half, if still to Spicy next time cut back by3/4.
Or you can leave the ingredients out completely but the dish may not be any good it will be very flat.
The spices are usually what makes the dish good.
add less spice.
Don't water it down or use less of the ingredients. You could add a little bit of sugar or use pineapple juice, not the drink but the juice that comes with canned pineapples. It's sweetness and acidity will counter the spices but don't add too much or you will make it too sweet.
I would need to see the recipe to give you any real advice. I do this with some recipes when I make them because, even though my family likes spicy foods, there is a level of "too spicey" that can be reached. I use Paul Prudhomme's Jambalya recipes and learned early on to cut the amount of pepper in his recipes in half. Still spicy, but they don't cross that line.
So, about the only thing I can say is to reduce the amount of the spicey ingrediant in the recipe. Another recipe I do this with is a recipe for chili made with chipotle chilis. I use half the amount recommended and it is just right.
If the dish is already made and you want to cut the heat, you can serve with sour cream which will help.
Good luck!
the best thing to do is: add small amount of chilli may be green or red chilli powder, which ever you prefer. say suppose you have comeup with a recipie which you found it hot even after doing a careful work as suggested by anybody else in the forum. now the remidie for making it nice, so you can still eat is by adding yougat(curd) and also don't add too much of ginger, as it will add hot flavour
add cream cheese
