Coconut curry soup? With PINEAPPLE??!

Question: Ok, so while bored at home on friday, I whipped together a great tasting soup w/o a recipe. It had cream, coconut milk, curry powder, shredded chicken, and some veggies, other spices.

I'd like to make it again, and have already adjusted the recipe I wrote out to improve it. My question is, does anyone have any idea if pineapple would add some jazz to it? I was planning on dumping pineapple chunks and boiled potatoes in the soup, pureeing it so it would have a nice thicker cream consistency. Has anyone ever tried anything like that? Or will pineapple "destroy" the soup, I guess? Input??

alot of Thai curries and Malay curries have fresh pineapple in them and they are terrific. I probably wouldn't use tinned pineapple and I am not sure that I would put potato and pineapple in the same dish.

I applaud your inventiveness and creativity!

is this ur discovery.......
