If rattlesnake tastes like chicken why not buy chicken?!

Question: It is a lot cheaper and easier to catch and clean.

Answers: It is a lot cheaper and easier to catch and clean.

The only good snake is a dead snake or so my Dad used to say. No sense letting all that good meat go to waste.

Ugh.

so you can say you've had rattlesnake. I had snake stew once, really salty, but maybe that was just salt in the stew.

At least you can say you had rattlesnake....everything wild or exotic tastes like chicken...so they say LOL

And miss out on snake!

Well, that's what I do! I buy chicken.

There's no adventure in eating chicken.

It's like most people are saying, just to say you've tried it. I love alligator. People say it tastes like chicken, but that's just giving it a general taste. Really it taste a lot better than chicken, but it's the closest thing that you can relate it too.

How do you say, it just tastes like alligator, or it tastes like rattlesnake? That's not telling anyone anything. To me neither really tastes like chicken, but it's the closest thing that you can compare it to.

If it tasted exactly like chicken, I agree with you, chicken is a heck of a lot cheaper. But, it only is a bit comparable to chicken and worth paying the price difference.
