Can I cook plain ground turkey in a crock pot?!

Question: I'm having a decent sized New Years Eve party tomorrow night and I'm making tacos with ground turkey. I make them plain with just salt & pepper and I was wondering if there was any way I could cook the meat in a crock pot since I have so much to make and it would be so time consuming to cook it all on the stove...

What about with some water and I could strain it??

Why not a large sized pot on the stove? Doesn't have to be frying pans. Just brown and leave to simmer with a bit of water in the bottom - check on it every 15-30 min. or so.

Yes, you can boil the meat - but make sure to season after you drain.

marinate it then cook it

Cook it on the stove first so you can drain it and add all your seasoning for your tacos and then put it in your crock pot to keep it warm on low or a warm setting.
