Peanut Butter Sandwiches and Chili?!


Question: It seems like most of us that enjoy this combination are from the Midwest. I'm just taking a pole to see where people are from that like this combination.

Wow that's a heavy meal and I am from the Midwest. Now give me some mashed potatoes with my chili, that's another story.

I'm from Central KY and this is how I grew up. Couldn't eat chili with out peanut butter sandwiches.

I am from midwest, I have heard of it, but never tried it. It doesnt really sound good to me. I do have a recipe for chili that I have been wanting to try that calls for peanut butter as an ingredient. I like butter bread with my chili.

I'm from Quebec and love peanut butter toast with chili. I had never heard of it until 3 years ago though when a friend from Indiana told me try it. Before then I ate chili with potatoes, fritos or cheesies (still do on occasion but the PB is my favorite)

Yes, that's actuaaly for dinner tonight in Georgia. Dunk it and eat it. YUM!

Hmm, I was born in Iowa and lived there until I was in my mid 30's. I have never heard of having peanut butter sandwiches with chili.

From Southeast Louisiana and I've never heard of that. I love chili and peanut butter separately.

I like it but I am from missouri and hubby likes it too he is from columbus ohio.

I had never heard of that before. It sounds great, and I can't wait to try it. Usually, I serve my chili with cinnamon rolls. That is one delicious combination.
