How can I make a low-carbohydrate pizza?!


Question: No Crust Low Carb Pizza
Ingredients: 1 lb. lean ground beef bowned and drained
dash of salt
dash of pepper
1 TBS minced onions
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 TBS parmesan cheese
? cup Ragu Light Spaghetti Sauce (No Sugar Added)
4 oz. mozzarella cheese
15 Turkey pepperoni (can use pork)
2 oz. canned mushrooms (can use fresh)
chopped onions and bell peppers to your liking
1 TBS basil (fresh is the best)
How To Prepare: 1. In a bowl, mix the lean ground beef, dash of salt & pepper, minced onions, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese.
2. Press meat mixture into a 1o in pie plate. Be sure to spray the pie plate with non-stick spray.
3. Spread the pizza sauce and top with mozzarella cheese, turkey pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers.
4. Sprinkle the basil on top.
5 Cook for 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
6. Remove from oven and drain off drippings from the pie pan.
7. Place pizza back in oven at 425 degree and bake until golden brown.

The worst part of a regular pizza is the crust and the sugars in the spaghetti sauce. when i was on a low carb diet i would just microwave some pepperoni and canadian bacon with mozarella cheese on top and call that my pizza...

Spread lean ground beef out in a pizza pan like you would spread crust out. Bake it in the oven til its brown and cooked. Take it out, blot the grease off, and put toppings on it, tomato sauce, pepperoni, beef, cheese, mushrooms, etc, and throw it back in the oven and cook it like 15 mins. It's called a Meatzza.

Use low-carb tortilla shells spread a thin layer of sauce, cheeses and veggies and cook in the oven until cheese is melted and veggies are done! I make this myself as I am on a low-carb diet! It is delicious. I also use the wheat tortillas they taste great!

It will be low carb as soon as you don't use any dough

ounces cream cheese, softened
4 large eggs
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup Parmesan
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 cups pizza blend cheese, shredded
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup pizza sauce, lowest you can find
1 cup mozzarella, shredded

Beat together cream cheese and eggs till smooth. Add cream, parmesan cheese and spices.

Spray a 9-inch or larger glass baking dish with oil. Put the 2 cups pizza cheese in dish and pour egg mixture over it. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes or until eggs are set.

Spread on pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and favorite toppings. Bake until bubbly and browning. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve.
Make sure to adjust carb counts for your favorite toppings.

3/4 cup soy protein powder or isolate
1/2 cup cream
3 large eggs
seasonings (garlic powder, basil)
Preheat oven to 350 and spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray. Mix protein powder, cream and eggs in bowl with whisk until smooth. Spread on cookie sheet. Bake 20 min. (can add sauce, cheese and toppings and put under broiler for few minutes)
Total: 6 carb, 1 fiber (5 NET carbs), 612 Calories, 57 fat, 19 protein
