My husband is a heavy sleeper and snores quite loudly, what can I do to make him stop snoring, helppppppp.?!
The simplest "cure" is to have him sleep on his side.
When all is said and done, there really is no cure; some things help (sometimes) but that is it.
However, I would suggest that he consult with a doctor to eliminate health problems. E.g., snoring is often a simptom of sleep apnea.
Answers: There are a number of products on the market now claiming they stop people from snoring, some are over-the-counter, others need a prescription. Those devices that Rush Limbaugh prescribed (like a bandaid that fits on the outside of the nose) help some. A sleeping mask also helps.

see a doctor
make him sleep outside.
try breath right nasal strip
or they make a no snore throat spray
he may need sleep therapy, a mask made specially for sleep apnea, ask DR.
And this would be in the "cooking and recipes" forum for what reason??? Shouldn't this be in General Health??

Buy earplugs. You probably can't help him stop snoring. Have you tried the nasal strips on the outside of the nose?
I use ear plugs, not the best thing but if your husband is like mine and will not go to the doctor, they work the best!
It's possible that he needs his adenoids removed. He should also be checked for sleep apnea. The loud snoring can be an indication of this which could also mean that he isn't getting enough oxygen to his organs during the course of a sleep period. This can lead to other health problems. Make an appt. with an ENT for him and then the doc should be able to determine and recommend further course of actions.
Give him his own bedroom, or tell him to sleep on the couch.
Or record him and play it back for him.
breathe right strips
worth a try
How does this have anything to do with cooking and recipes anyways consider those breathe right strips they may help.
Your husband could also have a deviated septum or something else that is causing him to snore get him to go to a ear, nose, throat specialist. If that doesn't work consider seperate sleeping quarters.
Put the electric skillet under him and gradually increase temperature until he stops snoring. If that doesn't work, lightly sprinkle black pepper under his nose. The sneezing should stop the snoring!
(this is the Cooking & Recipes forum after all)
Buy a box of those nose opening things...BREATHE EASY...this helps to open the nostrils so he can breathe thru his nose and not his mouth. It will help...
