Just FYI: Farm raised salmon is fed food with a pink dye. If the salmon farmers fed their fish anything else, it wouldn't be pink.

Wild salmon is naturally pink.

Depends on the kind of Salmon for one thing. And farm raised Salmon have crushed Shrimp/ crab shells added to give them pink flesh.
Atlantic salmon will almost always turn white when cooked. Sockeye though will generally retain some of the pink. So the answer is both, depends on the Salmon.
