Brocclli cheese and rice casserole?!

This one is nummy:

2 cups minute rice cooked
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
2 pkgs. Frozen broccoli (10 oz. each), cooked and drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup

In a heavy skillet, sauté onion, peppers, and celery in butter until tender. Combine rice, sauteed vegetables, broccoli, 1 cup Cheddar cheese, and soups. Transfer to a greased casserole dish.

Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

Take off cover, top with remaining 1 cup Cheddar cheese, and bake about 5 minutes longer, until top is lightly browned and cheese is melted. Serves 6 to 8.

You can add cooked cubed chicken to it before baking to make a complete meal if you want.

just cook the broccoli in the microwave & the rice should be cooked too, add cheese to the broccoli the rice is ready whenever it rises

Broccoli and Cheese Rice Casserole

1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
1 tablespoon butter margarine
1 (8 ounce) jar cheese spread
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
3 cups cooked rice

In a large skillet over medium heat, saute onion, celery and broccoli in butter for 3-5 minutes, Stir in cheese, soup, and milk until smooth.
Place rice in greased 8" square baking dish.
Pour cheese mixture over rice, do not stir.
Bake uncovered at 325 deg.
for 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly
