Any tips for making a good cookie cake?!

Question: I'm making a cookie cake out of a 1lb bag of sugar cookie mix. I made one last night, but my mom said leave it in there for 3 more min before i took it out. I took it out, and it was burnt. Im baking it in a big pizza pan thingy and it will be covered in M&Ms. Any tips on how to make it better? extra ingredients, i dunno, other cooking stuff. Thanks

I've made a lot of cookie cakes with the pre-made sugar cookie mix (where you just add an egg and butter).
When i bake them i lowered the temperature and baked it for a bit longer. With lowering the temperature it will bake more evenly (so the edges wont be burnt with the middle still dough-y).
Hope all works out!

Add brownie pieces - they're a must!

buy one!!!

Sounds good. How about chocolate frosting.

Add a touch of extra liquid, reduce the oven temp by *25, and bake a little bit longer. The edges WILL be a bit overdone if the cake is bigger than say... 9 inches ... but a little frosting takes care of that.

Another way to try it is to spread the cookie dough and then freeze for a few minutes. The core freezes slower, where the edges will be more frozen. They will then cook slower than the middle, but only by a tiny bit.

Good luck.

Add flour to mix, about 3/4 cup- 2 TLB milk -cook at 325- add m&m after 5 minutes of baking -be sure to preheat oven
