Pumpkin Pie ?!


Question: Ok So I have on can of pumpkin pie filling which I am adding to a tenderflake pie shell.

My question is how long to cook AND on what temp ?

Preheat oven to 400F
Bake for 15 minutes
Reduce temp to 350 and continue baking for 45 mins
Until crust is golden brown - or insert knife until it comes out clean

The pumpkin pie can will tell you all this and much, much more. Read the can.

just did same 340f. for 1 hour and 10 minutes
the small reduction in heat saves the crust from becoming too brown.trust me ,i made 2 dbl batches and they were perfect.Even great grandma thought the pie's were wonderful

um, just the can of pumpkin without mixing eggs, milk,etc? well, try 350 for 45min

400 for 15 minutes with foil around the edges of the pie for that 15 minutes. then reduce to 350 or 375 for another 30 minutes. check the can

Just in case the label came off: 350 F, for 45-60 min. A toothpick will come out clean when the filling is done.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 can (15 oz.) LIBBY'S? 100% Pure Pumpkin
1 can (12 fl. oz.) NESTLé? CARNATION? Evaporated Milk
1 unbaked 9-inch (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell
Whipped cream (optional)


Directions:
MIX sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves in small bowl. Beat eggs in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.

POUR into pie shell.

BAKE in preheated 425° F oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° F; bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Top with whipped cream before serving.

Try 350 F and for about 45-60 mins.

I was just asking if there was anyone else who loved pumpkin pie as much as I do yesterday. I think I'm in love with you.....lol...not sure how to make it but if you need a hand eating it...you know where to go! ;)

It usually depends on your oven as all ovens vary as do the exact time. Try 350 degress for 45 minutes. You know it's done when you can insert either a butter knife or toothpick in the center and it comes out clean.
