If i have stuffed cabbages in the oven at 275 and i want to throw in a pumpkin pie also but pie bakes at 375?!

Question: What if i put in the pie at 275 with the cabbages even though the pie box calls for 375 what will happen?

It should still work, just take longer. Or take your cabbages out early, do the pie, then put them back in for a bit at 375.

You are probably going to have to keep the pie in the oven for 1/2 longer than the time it says on the box if you decide you want to bake it in a 275 degree oven. You will have to use your best judgment as to when it is done. I guess you could always throw your stuffed cabbages in the oven at 375 degrees along with the pie. Just keep an eye on it.

cabbages should only take 10-12 mins so cook your pie first then do the cabbages you can then just warm up the pie(try the microwave) or pop it back in the oven for a couple of mins. Enjoy! Happy New Year.

Take the cabbages out and let them wait till the pie is done.

I never cook my stuffed cabbage so slow, so I don't think it will make much difference. You might need to add more water, or flip them over.

I should work. Just crank the oven back up when the cabbages are done.

Cover the cabbages and cook a shorter time. seal well w/aluminum. Watch it carefully and add water to steam it.

Otherwise do it in 2 steps

You're better off cooking the cabbage fast then the pie long

um, i would do it the other way.
turn the oven up, add more water to the cabbages, cut their cook time in half, and cook the pie at a regular time.
I always cook my cabbages at 350....with a can of tomato sauce and an equal amount (1 can's worth) of water...
