Is the real piece of honeycomb in the honey jar I received as a gift edible?!

Question: It looks pretty good!

Answers: It looks pretty good!

We use to suck on it when we where kids for coughs and sore throats. its what was given to me instead of cold meds. We sucked on the comb and spit it out when all the sweet was gone. It can be used as a cool conversation piece, put it in a pretty jar with some dried flowers or herbs.

i dont eat it, but i will suck on it to get the honey out of it

Usually people chew it to get the honey out, then spit out the wax.

Very edible its like chewing gum.....a little waxier though...

you can use it for a frog. I don't mean a ribbit ribbit frog, I mean one of those things you stick flowers in.

yes it's edible, and most belive it's the best part.

It is edible, I've eaten it before.

it's not edible but it's chewable! it's like warm candle wax or something when it's chewed up! It's actually pretty good if you can stand the texture of it!

I have seen people eat it. I think it is like wax. The honey sure does sound yummy though. hehe Are you hungry KY? Maybe you could come over and try some of my honey honey. Love, honey

it is delicious to eat just as is.

Yes it is real. Most people I know can't wait to use the honey to get to the honeycomb. I have never tried it, but most of my family loves it.

It isn't something I have ever had, so I would try it and see what happened.

It sure is honey bunch enjoy your gift. It was the bee fairy who brought it for you!
