When I make my frosting for my Christmas cookies, it's powdered sugar and shortening or butter, a little milk and vanilla. So could you add more shortening or butter? Do you have Splenda in the house? or regular sugar that you sifted? I'd try the regular sifted sugar 1st. Val

Stick it in the refrigerator for a little while and then rewhip. Depending upon how runny it is, you might have to put it back in the fridge.

Been there, done that! I wouldn't add granular sugar because it will make your frosting "grainy" tasting.

if you havent got any icing sugar left try small amount of cornflour in a small amount of water mix it well then add to the frosting, cornflour is usually good for thickening anything, but dont use to much or it might over take the taste of the frosting

all i know of is powdered sugar...you should make a trip to the store.
