How do you make a No Bake Fruitcake?!


Question: Hm..never heard of it.

but I do know that not just any recipe will work, so let me find one for you that will.

you do realize that if you make one now, it will be ready for next christmas?

it needs a good 6 months to a year for the flavors to blend.

6 ounces candied pineapple, coarsely chopped

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

DIRECTIONS
Line one 9x5 inch loaf pan with plastic wrap, allowing wrap to hang over edges a few inches.
In a large bowl, combine the graham crackers, red and green cherries, pineapple, pecans, and the sweetened condensed milk, using your hands mix thoroughly. Place mixture into lined pan and cover well.
Freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight before serving. When ready to serve; invert onto a serving platter, remove pan and plastic wrap, and slice. Store any remaining cake in the freezer.

No Bake Fruitcake:

1 pound halved candied cherries
4 cups chopped pecans
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (14 ounce) can coconut milk
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup raisins
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers

In a large bowl mix the candied cherries, chopped pecans, sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk, flaked coconut, raisins, vanilla, and crushed vanilla wafers. Batter will be very stiff. Place into pan and store in the refrigerator.

1 lb. candied cherries, chopped
1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
1 box golden raisins
2-3 c. chopped pecans
1 lb. marshmallows
1 stick butter
1 box graham crackers
2 c. coconut

Melt butter and marshmallows. Crush graham crackers and mix all other ingredients together. Pour marshmallows over and mix together. Press in oblong pan and refrigerate until firm. Remove from pan and wrap in saran wrap and slice as needed.

NO BAKE FRUITCAKE

1 lb. box vanilla wafers
1 lb. box raisins
1 lb. candied cherries (red)
1 lb. candied cherries (green)
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. dates
1 lb. walnuts
1 lb. shelled pecans
1 can condensed milk

Grind vanilla wafers. Cut all fruit in small pieces. Soak in wine to cover, overnight. Cut nuts and sprinkle with flour. Mix all ingredients real good with condensed mix. Put back in vanilla box or in greased loaf pans. These can be frozen.
