Making flour tortillas for the first time, and after I cook them, they fall apart?!

Question: My recipe is not any different than the ones that I have found online, yet after I cook them, 45 -60 secs on first side, and 30 secs on second side, they break , they are not hard, they just won't stay together, nor do they taste very good.. What is going on with this?

I have this mastered. But I can't tell what your doing wrong without knowing your recipe.
They definitely shouldn't be falling apart no matter what they taste like.

you are cooking them for too long perhaps? Also they need a fair bit of kneading, try adding slightly more water, and flour the board more, then knead for longer.

omg i had this same problem. Before you heat up the tortillas make sure you dont bend them in any sort of way. When you heat them in the microwave make sure to put them in a bag without bending them and stick them in the microwave. 60sec is to much 30 would do depending on how much you put. The main thing is that make sure you dont bend the tortilla just leave it the way it is put them inside a bag and heat them up. I know it sounds weird but try it and it will work.

If I had your recipe I could help you.
