Bakers do you know? I want to take a cake recipe that makes?!

Question: 2- 8 inch layers and make it in 3- 4 inch cake pans? Do you have any idea how long these smaller layers would need to cook? Any information is appreciated. Thanks

the timing is not that critical. what determines weather the cake is done is if when you see the cake lightly brown, and it is firm to the touch on the top in the middle.

use the time frame as a general idea, but use the other methods to make sure.

The same as the 8" but less time. I don't think that 3 cake pans at 4" the equal to the two 8" pans. You may need 4 of them!

just insert a toothpick when it comes out clean they are done
start testing 15 minutes after they started cooking

I would think of them as large cookies and watch them and after ten minutes test with a toothpick for doneness.
Bake them at 350 degrees in the center of your oven.
They sound like the cake size that children bake in the Easy Bake Oven toy.
