Crisp buttys?!

Question: do you ever put crisps on a sandwich? if not, what odd things do you put on one?

Answers: do you ever put crisps on a sandwich? if not, what odd things do you put on one?

I love crisp butties. To ensure the contents stay between the bread, when you put the top slice on, squish it down a bit so the crisps crunch and stick to the marg/butter better.

I also have had avocado pear with a sprinkle of sugar. And banana with mayo and a sprinkle of curry power - sounds gross but it's actually nice!!! Honest!

A friend of mine likes tomato sauce on a buttie!!

Crisp butties, oh yes, but if you ever find a way of keeping the contents in the bread without them falling out all over the place let me know.

Hell YEAH!!! I love crisp buttys. They are possibly my favourite food of all time. =)

Salt and vinegar walkers...

Although, the last time I made one I was very disappointed- a standard packet should make a one and a half sandwiches, and yet the packet has shrunk. Also, the flavour is nowhere near as strong as it once was.

We should start a petition

-- Edit--

My dutch friend used to eat chocolate sprinkle sandwiches. Apparently it's a dutch tradition. A bit unhealthy, but very nice!

what is a crisp butty? do i want one?

When I was studying in England, this was a favourite. Also, bacon and chip buttie! There is banana and peanut butter filling too for the health conscious. In Singapore we love Kaya jam made with egg and coconut cream, very rich! Enjoy! {:-)

terrific question very very very difficult to answer

oh yes, I love them, with loads of butter on them, but it has to be a nice strong flavoured crisp like beef and onion.
