Will paprika add some kick to my spaghetti sauce?!

Question: Paprika might make it a little more bitter or hotter - depending on the type of paprika you have or use.

How about adding some hot sauce?

Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!

Paprika makes it more like goulash (which is great if that is what you want). I add either lemon juice or chili.

I think a little Cayan would be better for that dish...

try crushed red pepper instead... that usually does the trick for me. There are different kinds at the store too... some have some other herbs and spices mixed in that make it even better.

hell yeah, but I'd probably just go half teaspoon of dried chilli.

Yes it may add a lil somethang. I have never tried paprika in sauce or you can also use chilli flakes. The ones you get with pizza. Start with a small amount let come to boil then taste and add more if needed. I use 1/4 teas to my sauce to add just a lil background kick.

not in my opinion
I put an 1/8 tsp into,,, to taste,, and nothing..
it is just color for toppings

idk..

make a whole batch of spaghetti and than take some and put it in a small bowl and then take the paprika and try it and if you like it.. add it to the whole batch.

Yeah. It's red bell pepper.

Paprika will certainly add some kick; any spice will!

It all depends on what kind of taste you're going for... Cooking is about trial and error... Find what works best for you!

Personally I like a premade sauce that already has flavor (my favorite is Prego's garden sauce), and adding Italian Seasoning for an extra boost...

Good Luck and Happy Cooking!

Yes, I always put some paprika powder (and diced fresh ones) in my sauce.
Paprika also helps to thicken the sauce.
