Do they inject chicken parts with water?!

Question: Lately when I bake chicken in th eoven, it oozes water when I start to eat it. Lots of water, especially the breasts. This only started recently. Do you think they inject the chicken parts with water so it has more weight and they can sell it for more? I'm guessing they do.

Yep, they inject with salt water to plump it up and make it look like a 6 oz breast but it's only 4 oz. Sam's and places that sell frozen chicken breasts are the worst for that. Check the ingredients, it will tell you.

They inject water, sugar sometimes and they bleach it so it appears more attractive to consumers. Real fresh chicken breasts are pink and not perfectly oval. Gotta love the manufacturers...they always do things without telling us.

whether they do or not is unimportant....the better question is "what do they do to make chicken products so cheap and affordable?"

unlike ground beef it is harder to "inject" water into say a breast or thigh of a chicken. It's much easier to breed a chicken that grows larger, faster more quickly. And the best way to do that is water or fat retention.....both cook off under heat.

yes they do

they might inject it but did you ever think it wasn't done cooking. but i don't know.

Yup
