If i bbq chicken and want it for tommorow how can i save it for tommorow without it tasting dry?!


Question: i cook chicken put it in the fridge about 15 min after i cook it. and then whenever i eat it the next day its always so dry . any tips

Reheat it the next day with broth in a covered dish.

  • Put the chicken in a pan of cold water. NO SALT. Put it on a burner and bring it to a simmer slowly. Reduce heat, cover, and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Drain, pat it dry, and bbq (it will cook more quickly on the bbq this way. You now have a moist bbq'd chicken. Wrap in Saran wrap, and refrigerate. That's it.

    I cook the chicken in a crock pot before I bbq it. It keeps it from drying out too much

    Actually why don't you marinate your chicken overnight, to help with flavoring and then it will be more tender, then cook it tomorrow. I love marinated chicken!
