What kind of sandwiches can you make without processed meats and cheese?!

Question: Other than Tuna, Peanut Butter and Jelly, and Bacon Lettuce and Tomato.

Answers: Other than Tuna, Peanut Butter and Jelly, and Bacon Lettuce and Tomato.

My husband and I enjoy veggie sandwiches. We usually pick out really good cheese or something more interesting (like pepper jack, Havarti, Provolone, etc). I also love sliced avocado on it. Tomato, dill pickles, thinly sliced onion, alfalfa sprouts and a good leaf lettuce.

If you like meat on your sandwiches, it might be worth your time to go to the deli and get it sliced right there (same with the cheese). Higher quality ingredients really make a difference. Also, if you are concerned about processed food, maybe shopping at a place like Whole Foods (or Wild Oats) will help you find a better alternative.
