How do you slow cook beef ribs in the oven?!

Question: Place ribs on heavy duty aluminum foil with the shiny side down on a cookie sheet -- Coat each side of the ribs with a generous portion of dry rub-- You can make your own rub using brown sugar and spices-- Be careful not to use too much salt in your dry rub if you decide to make your own--

Pull the sides of the foil up and fold together to seal it tight. Let them sit in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight --

Preheat oven to 200 -- 250 degrees F, depending on your local elevation -- and cook away -- overnight is best --I wouldn't leave them alone all day during the day.

I put them at 225 and cook for hours until they fall off the bone... scrtumptious!!

Keep it in there for 4 hours with the temp on 300 degrees

Bottle of your favorite bbq sauce, 1/2 cup of orange juice. Put ribs in roasting or baking pan. Cover with sauce mixture. Put foil over. Bake at 250 for 3 hours...delicious!

slowly!

boil them first than in a shallow pan cover them in sauce and set the oven at 350 will be done in 35 minutes

Season them with whatever you want. Then covered them in barbeque sauce ( Spicy Bullseye) my favorite. Oven 250 and then just let them do their thing. Yum. Let me know how they turn out. You can use a oven bag to put the ribs in first and they stay moist due to being in the bag.

put your oven on low heat , cover the beef ribs with tin foil, turn the the ribs to cook on each side .

Well it depends on how many you have..I usually cook at least 10 lbs worth..I season mine first with salt , pepper and a bit of garlic powder...i place them in a pan( you can stack them on top of each other) that is covered with heavy duty aluminum foil or two sheets of the regular..place in oven on middle rack and cook on 200 degrees for 8 hours..don't take off tin foil till fully cooked..if you want BBQ sauce on yours, take off tin foil in last 30 mins of cooking and lather sauce over all of the ribs..place back in oven for last 30 mins uncovered..let sit for 5 mins after you take out of oven to let juices redistribute through meat..enjoy

I have a really good recipe for baby back ribs (but my sister has done it with beef ribs). They melt in your mouth and fall off the bone.

Rub ribs with a mixture off garlic, salt and pepper. Then rub Louisianna hot sauce over ribs (amount is up to your taste. I like it spicy). Next put a honey or smoked honey bar-b-que sauce over all side. and last put a can of mandragin oranges on them (the cavity side) (sounds wierd but try it... this make them. My husband ALMOST didn't try them but now he is hooked). Bake slowly (we normally cook them on the smoker or grill but the over works fine). about 275-300 degrees for 3 hours. Be sure you wrap and seal the really well with aluminum foil. I actually have the on the foil and add all the ingredients while they are on the foil. Then I just wrap and cook. mmmmm good. Think I'll run out an buy some baby back ribs at Sams. Thanks for reminding me of this. Have a good day!

try this recipe when you have several hour free, as slow cooking ribs properly does tend to take a lot of time, especially with ribs as large as beef ribs.

Season the ribs with your recipe's spice rub/marinade or use a commercial blend. Avoid using barbecue sauce until much later in the recipe, if at all. Using sauce too early will cause the sugars in the barbecue sauce to burn prematurely before the meat is anywhere near fully cooked. The ribs should be cooked off of the pan, so if you have a rib rack you can place them in there with a pan or something to catch the juices underneath pan underneath. If you don't have a rib rack, you should try to come up with some other way to keep the ribs elevated so they cook better. If you can't find anything and have to lay the ribs down in a shallow pan, that would be okay as well.

Cook the ribs at a low temperature, preferably 225-275 until they are cooked to the desired point. You can try even lower temperatures, but this will increase the time considerably, perhaps by as much as an hour or two for a 15-20 degree difference. Depending on how large they are, a single rack will take a few hours (at least) to cook. The meat should shrink back from the bones. The meat should pull of of the bones easily, although you should still have some chew left. If in doubt, a meat thermometer may be used, although it is somewhat difficult to find a decent place to insert it. Make certain that it is nowhere near the bone, as that will give you a false reading.

Low and slow.....temperature around 250 degrees and for at least 4 to 6 hours...season them with salt and pepper and maybe a barbecue dry rub, then add the sauce for last 15 to 30 minutes cooking time otherwise you will burn the sauce...but beef where I'm from it's against our religion to use beef as barbecue...try pork(baby-back ribs) next time

If you are baking for a large amount , get a large baking pan about 30'' (w) & 30" (Lenth wise). use about 12-16 cups of water. Put (1) full bottle of liquid smoke into the baking pan. Then , wrap pan with foil. When finished, place baking pan in oven, let beef ribs bake at 350 degrees <f> <h> for about 2 hours &20 minutes-or - 3hours. when ribs are cooked, let the beef ribs cool before broiling. When ribs are ready, place beef ribs on broiler or grill to mark and sauce the ribs. How can you tell when the ribs are ready? Well, when you first place the ribs on the broiler , make sure to brush it with barbeque sauce first (your choice of your favorite barbeque sauce). then after, as soon as you see the bones starting to bubble you know the ribs are heated. Then, turn the ribs placed up side down- crissed cross so that the beef ribs leave a nice mark. * make sure to brush all sides of the beef ribs to leave it beauitiful taste.* !!!!!!! share it with the family!!!!!!!&!! !!!!!!!! enjoy your meal!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
