flour in a bag...shake wings til covered..put sauce on....stick in oven.....baste sauce while cooking...add sugar or honey to sauce to make a crispy layer...take out when cooked to your liking
INGREDIENTS
oil for deep frying
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup hot sauce
1 dash ground black pepper
1 dash garlic powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
10 chicken wings
DIRECTIONS
Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). The oil should be just enough to cover wings entirely, an inch or so deep. Combine the butter, hot sauce, pepper and garlic powder in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir together and heat until butter is melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat and reserve for serving.
In a small bowl mix together the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt. Place chicken wings in a large nonporous glass dish or bowl and sprinkle flour mixture over them until they are evenly coated. Cover dish or bowl and refrigerate for 60 to 90 minutes.
Fry coated wings in hot oil for 10 to 15 minutes, or until parts of wings begin to turn brown. Remove from heat, place wings in serving bowl, add hot sauce mixture and stir together. Serve.
Have fun

***Candied Garlic Chicken Wings***
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups honey
6 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 pounds chicken wings
DIRECTIONS
Heat honey, soy sauce, and garlic in a saucepan until boiling.
Place the wings in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking pan, and pour the honey mixture over the chicken. Cover with foil. Marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.
Bake, covered, at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 1 hour; turn the wings after 1/2 hour. Remove the foil cover, and bake for 15 minutes. Take the wings out of the sauce, and bake on a rack for 10 minutes. Turn the chicken wings, and cook for another 10 minutes.
Season them liberally with seaoned salt, garlic poweder, black pepper, whatever you like and bake them in a 400 F. oven for an hour. Turn after 30 minutes so both sides get nice and crisp.
The other way is to dredge them in seasoned flour and fry on top of the stove.
Which ever method I use, afterward I dip them in a mixture of Red-Hot, melted butter and garlic....YUMMY! Enjoy!
I fry mine in a large skillet with a little oil...just enough so they don't stick, but not enough so that they are actually "frying in oil". When they are cooked through, I cover the broiler pan with foil, spray some cooking oil on the foil and put them under the broiler until they are crispy, pull them out, turn them so all sides get brown and crispy, when they are crispy then add your sauce, put them back under the broiler for a few minutes....absolutely delicious!
Hoping that you have a broil setting on it. Broil the wings until done. While they are cooking baste them with the souse to keep them moist and from burning. Be careful not to let them cook to long just until they are done.
my family favorite is
oil for frying
1 bottle of bbq sauce
1 bottle of teriyaki sauce
mix the bbq sauce and teriyaki sauce in a ziploc bag. Add the chicken wings and shake. We marinate them over night but you can go ahead and fry them. The kids and hubby love them.
I have one of those small ovens so I put the wings on alum foil and use 450 degrees at broil and bake for 30 minutes or more. You have to watch them after 30 minutes and brown to your liking. I just had them the other day. They came out great and were very crispy. You can put sauce on during the last few minutes of cooking or when you take them out. When I say small oven its 14 by 14 inches
yuk.
For crispy your going to have to bread them first then add your sauce. Best bet is to fry them.
Season the wings and coat with oil. Place on a pan and cook at 375 to 400 degrees for about 20 minutes. Place the sauce in a bowl (you can heat it if you wish) and toss the cooked wings in the sauce.
Southwestern Chicken Wings

1/4 cup chili powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp ground cumin
12 oz tortilla corn chips
1 lb chicken wings, disjointed & tips discarded

Pulverize the tortilla chips in a food processor. Pour into a shallow bowl.
Dip the chicken pieces in the seasoned oil; then dredge in the ground chips until coated. Set on a foil-lined baking sheet & bake for 45 minutes until browned & crisp outside & tender inside. Serve hot.

Addictive Chicken Wings
4 pounds chicken wings
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup butter
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
2. Cut the wings into drumettes (I double the recipe and also use the wing tips)
3. Combine parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl
4. Line a shallow baking pan with foil (a must)
5. Melt the butter in a shallow bowl or pan
6. Dip each drumstick in butter, roll in the cheese and seasoning mixture, and arrange in the foil lined pan
7. Bake for 1 hour - and then kick yourself for not doubling the recipe.
That should get you started
